- Identify the opportunities available to your business. New markets/new customers/new contracts/new bids or tenders
- Identify the competencies you need to demonstrate to win these opportunities. Product or service standards/quality/business standards/certifications/productivity/legislation/award schemes
- Implement or refine as necessary
- Communicate these competencies
- Attract, win, grow
- Don’t ‘work the phones’!!
